These metal tips encase raw edges of webbing, strapping, ribbon and fabric when making your own easy-sew belts. Metal tips folds together and teeth grip material to prevent raveling and fraying while providing a polished finish to your DIY project. This pack includes four 1″ wide nickel finish tips.
1. Slightly round corners of belting. Seal raw edges with Fray Check
2. Insert end of belting into tip, making sure edges are even and end is fully inserted into tip.
3. Use pliers to gently flatten middle and sides of tip together. Check to be sure belting is secure.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 for opposite end of belt strap.
Tip: Place a scrap of fabric over tip to avoid scratching the metal.
