      Use the Dritz Bias Tape Maker to make 1/2-inch & 1″ tape for sewing and craft projects. A precision tool that folds fabric into perfect halves automatically, it lets you make smooth, even 1/2-inch & 1″ bias tape for hems, sleeves, armholes, quilting, and craft projects. One easy motion creates any length bias tape without fumbling, with creases, setting down iron, or making tedious measurements.

      Size: 1/2" (12 mm) and 1" (25 mm)

      Color: Silver

      1. Cut fabric so edge is perpendicular to selvage.
      2. Fold cut edge to meet selvage creating a diagonal fold. Use rotary cutter to cut along fold.
      3. Draw lines 1 ¾” parallel to fold for 1″ bias tape and 1″ for ½” bias tape. Cut on marked lines to create bias strips.
      4. Pin short ends of strips, right sides together. Strips will be at right angles.
      5. Stitch ¼” seam. Trim points; press seams to the side.
      6. Wrong side up, feed bias strip into wide end of tape maker. Use pin to pull fabric through narrow end.
      7. Pin this end of strip to ironing board. Pull tape maker away from pins, pressing folds. Keep iron close to tape maker.
