Apply the Dritz Stay Tape to the necklines of your garment to add extra strength. This lightweight stay tape prevents stretching and helps in stabilizing waistlines, shoulder seams and lapel roll lines without adding additional weight. You can also use this nylon stay tape for curved necklines, side pocket openings and gathered seam lines. The package includes one 10 yards long and 0.5-inch wide tape.
1. Determine where Stay-Tape will be used.
2. Gently pull tape. Place curled side down on fabric.
3. Cut to length and pin to wrong side of fabric. Apply to only one fabric layer of a seam. Do not position Stay-Tape over intersection of seams.
4. Pin and stich seam as directed in pattern instructions.
