      Dritz decorative snap fastener tools are used to apply a variety of Dritz decorative snaps to garments and accessories made of light- to medium-weight fabric.

      Test on swatch of fabric. Use 2 layers of light to medium-weight fabric reinforced with interfacing.

      1. Mark position of snaps on overlap and underlap of garment.
      2. On right side of garment overlap, push prong into fabric at mark; turn over. TIP: Use pencil eraser to push fabric from wrong side onto prongs.
      3. Put small pad on work surface and place decorative prong top side down on pad.
      4. Position socket raised center down over prongs.
      5. Center large end of setter over socket; hammer firmly.
      6. Repeat for stud and prong on underlap of garment. Make sure stud is on outside of underlap and setter is positioned over stud.
