Always test lead on a swatch of fabric first to ensure marks remove as desired. Push down on eraser to advance lead, mark fabric lightly. To expose eraser, twist top of pencil clockwise. To add ceramic lead, remove top of pencil and drop lead into barrel. To remove marks, use eraser, lightly rub marks with a damp cloth, or wash fabric following manufacturer care instructions
