Plastic Snap Pliers Kit

For best results: Test first on several layers of fabric.

1. Mark placement of snaps on project. Use awl to make a small hole in fabric.
2. Insert prong of snap cap into hole and place socket over prong.
3. Position pliers with cap in black die tray and socket under rubber pressing head.
4. Make sure cap is centered and seated in die tray. Squeeze pliers firmly to secure.
5. Repeat with second cap and stud.

To change die tray:

1. Loosen die screw in base.
2. Pull out die and replace with appropriate size die.
3. Tighten screw just enough to secure.

To remove and reinsert metal shank:

1. Remove screw at top of metal shank.
2. Open pliers and remove spring.
3. Pull off rubber pressing head and washer to remove shank.
4. Replace with desired shank then reapply spring, washer and pressing head.
5. Insert shank into pliers, aligning hole in shank with hole in handle.
6. Insert screw and tighten only enough to secure.
